BOTD: Acrylic Makeup Storage Tower

I finally found a makeup storage tower that was affordable enough for me.
{So many of them are $50+!}

For $36.99 I got a 10 drawer tower that fits all sorts of things like lipsticks, eyeshadow pots, hair accessories, and even jewelry.

I don't like that the drawers have an indented front, making the inner storage space that much smaller, and that regular eyeliners and lip glosses barely fit.

Chanel eyeshadow quads fit perfectly, as well as mac,
and maybelline eyeshadow pots.

Overall, I am pleased with my purchase, I like the price very much as well as like the way that the clear acrylic makes finding items so easy!

NOTD: Chanel- Suspicious

Suspicious is a bright red based raspberry color that looks brighter under direct sunlight than in the bottle. 2 Coats are needed for full opacity.

As you can tell, I'm not photographing my usual right hand because... I broke a nail. And to top it all off, I wasn't able to take a full hand shot of this hand because I have a giant cut on one of my fingers!

 Leave it to me to be a complete klutz. The other day I totally fell and scraped my knee pretty badly. I had to use the large bandaids. lol. Who trips and falls these days {besides kids}?!?!?!

me.

NOTD: Pink French Tip

I'm on a roll with these V-day manis :)

Today felt like another french tip, but I used magenta glitter and rhinestones to spice it up!

I've noticed that free handing a french mani by using horizontal lines is actual quite easy!!!

NOTD: V-Day Ready?!

Valentine's Day is fast approaching {actually it's still kind of far off huh? lol} Anyway...

Today's mani was inspired by this picture {which was done on acrylics, I think}.

 I free-handed everything using 2 polishes and a thick top coat:

1. I painted horizontal lines for the tips, gives them a little roundness at the edges.
 {rather than making straight lines across}

2. For the heart, I began with 2 dots above the white line and connected them downward
with a fine short brush.

3. Then I filled the them in and tried to make it as close to a heart as possible! :)

My week has been jam packed with schoolwork!!!  Doing nail art definitely helps me de-stress  a bit!  I hope that you guys enjoy it as much as I do :)

BOTD: Zara Jelly Flats

{Bargain Of The Day}
I FOUND THEM!!!!! Yes, these babies have been sold out on ZARA since they were first introduced and I wasn't about to pay full price {$89??} for them anyway... Sooo, I went on Ebay and searched and searched until viola! there they were for $65! Can you say score!?!?!?!

Now, I will share my secret: They are not listed under the ZARA name so I messaged the seller wanting to know details about where they get their merchandise {they have more Zara items listed} and was told that they purchase them directly from a ZARA branded factory {in china I suppose}. But, since they "don't have actual Zara receipts" they wont list them as such... kind of weird since their other items are listed under the ZARA name. They shipped from China and it took about 12 days from the date of purchase to receive them with a tracking number provided. The shipping for these flats is free! If your size is currently unavailable, wait a few days and see if they restock them.

Anyway, I bought them because the pictures are all identical to the original ZARA jelly flats, and indeed they are ZARA! They still had the plastic film on the bottom sole and came in a brown ZARA shoe box. They also have all of the embossed ZARA logos in all of the right places and none of the studs were missing.

Review: They are fabulous and people will want to steal them off of your feet they are so sparkly!!! The soles are quite slippery so be careful, I think I'm going to put grips on the bottom of mine. They don't pinch or cause blistered as the material is a very nice and soft suede. They run in european sizes so make sure that you check out a shoe size conversion chart to find your right size. I am personally always a US 6.5 so I got the equivalent EU37, and they are a tad roomy {less than 1/2 too big}. Go with your regular size since the t-strap allows you to adjust them to your perfect fit.

What an extensive review/info! I hope that this helps anyone who has been coveting these beauties like I have.

I'd love to know if you purchase them through this seller!!!
