OOTD: Tanks + Statement Necklace

I did some online shopping last week and was pretty excited to get packages in the mail this week!

Shopping online at Forever21 and Charlotte Russe is definitely not something I do often, I am always expecting so much more than what I usually end. And F21's return policy isn't one of my favorites either, but I am extremely pleased with these purchases and there will be no returns! And if you haven't already noticed, I might be totally obsessed, and get ridiculously excited when I find amazing bargains like shopping on eBay and enjoy finding great items like this necklace :)

Here are all my new items!

After seeing so many pictures floating around on Pinterest, I found this Bubble Necklace on Ebay for $15, compared to J.Crew's hefty $150 price tag.
{I'm sure mine is only J.Crew inspired, but it's amazing quality, for a tiny fraction of the price!}

I saw this online at Charlotte Russe and fell in love with the huge bow!!! But I was skeptical of the fabric so I found it in-store and was pleasantly surprised at how soft, yet sturdy it actually is!

Love= Black+White .

Today's Outfit: I'm loving the Bubble necklace and Stripes combo :)

Products Mentioned:
Forever 21-Striped Racerback Tank{BOGO free or $5.99 each}. Charlotte Russe-Bow-Back V-Neck Tank{on sale $15!}. Necklace- eBay Bubble Necklace {$15}. {J.Crew one here}. Shoes- Tory Burch Reva Flats. Bracelets: Kate Spade {craving this pink one}.

NOTD: Mixing Patterns

Today I decided to mix patterns! :)

The sun came out just in time for me to take more pictures!

Polka Dots, Stripes, Flowers, Glitter... how can you go wrong?!

I am loving this jelly glitter polish, but the sparkle doesn't show up in regular pictures, so I took a fuzzy  one.

My Method:
  •  I used my handy double sided dotting tool for the flowers, make 4 dots close enough together so the edges overlap a little, then dot a darker color in the center.
  • For the stripes I used the CM Nail Art polish, and made steady strokes vertically down my nail. You can go over each stripe a few times to get the desired thickness and opacity.  I actually like the brush in this polish over the nail art brushes I bought on eBay because those unfortunately frayed out when I cleaned tried to clean them :(

Hope you enjoyed the pictures! What other types of manicures would you like to see?

Wow, I just realized all my polishes are water inspired!

Products mentioned:
Essie- Absolutely Shore. China Glaze- Atlantis. Avon- Aqua Fantasy. CM Nail Art- White.
Dotting tools- blueskynailsupply.

NOTD: A Mix + Arm Candy

Mixing and matching nail polish is so much fun! Today I decided to use some more of my new polishes because 1 was definitely not going to cut it, nor was 2... so i went with 3 polishes!!!

Also, check out my new arm candy! After a few failed attempts at finding this bow cuff in stores I finally stumbled upon it while shopping in San Diego.

Isn't it pretty and feminine?

What's your favorite mix of nail colors??

Thanks for reading!

Time for: Nails+Weekend

After a long weekend trip to San Francisco for my cousins college graduation, my nails started to go downhill. That ridiculously long car ride stressed me out... and when I stress out chipping my polish is inevitable.

So it was time for a fresh mani as soon as I recovered and got settled back in at home. Today's nails are pink with a bit of glitter for contrast. I found this Avon polish to be quite opaque and easy to apply. It did take 3 coats to get completely even. I recommend a base coat to make application streak-free, and a top coat is a must for glossy and durable manicures!

I'll be posting a nail polish haul soon with all the polishes I got recently including this pink one, so keep a lookout.

Hope you are having a great day, the weather here in SoCal beautiful, just perfect. Nor Cal weather was unbearable at a whooping 113˚ on our ride back, I was close to having a heat stroke nice and hot.

Is the weather nice where you are?

Products used:
Avon: Pastel Pink. (similar: here.) Jordana: Silver Glitter 208. Seche Vite: Top Coat. OPI: Ridge Filler
